Explore the wonderful mountain paths during excursions and hikes between farmsteads, meadows and woods in Val Gardena, against the backdrop of the majestic Dolomite summits. And, why not, experience the thrill of diving into a mountain bathing lake, such as Lake Fiè below Alpe di Siusi. Ortisei offers plenty of fun for the whole family in the high ropeway adventure park and promises excitement for both adults and children alike.
Keep in shape with a bit of mountain jogging or cycling with the family, along easy routes that cater for all tastes and abilities. The more athletically inclined will want to cover the “Hero” international cycling competition routes or try their hand at the Four Dolomite Passes ring. A bike ride in the Val Gardena Dolomites is an experience you just can’t miss!
There are also plenty of opportunities for practising extreme sports, such as climbing, mountaineering and rock climbing, where you can test your ability on the vie ferrate, which are fairly easy if you have the right equipment and appropriate experience, or try out the incredible thrill of a tandem paragliding flight.
